Description · generated

Buck Hill Ski & Snowboard Area is in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota, United States, near Burnsville south of the Minnesota River. It has 15 runs served by 11 lifts, which include two quad chairlifts and a triple chairlift. The hill is a glacial moraine, and snowmaking, first added in 1961 with a T-bar, lets it stay open for the winter months despite modest natural snowfall. A newer quad chairlift at the south end opened in 2006 on fill-raised terrain, and the area also has a snow tubing section. Buck Hill is known for its ski racing program.
