About Mammoth Mountain
Mammoth Mountain is a dormant volcano in California's Eastern Sierra with one of the longest seasons in the country — big snow years have kept lifts spinning into summer. The summit ridgeline is steep chutes; the lower mountain is long intermediate runs. It sits about five hours from Los Angeles up US-395, so Friday night and Sunday afternoon are the ugly hours, and midweek is quiet.
Mammoth Mountain is a ski resort in the Eastern Sierra, California. PeakCam tracks 3 webcams here, plus snow depth from the assigned NRCS station, updated every six hours.
PeakCam treats this as the off-season here; if the mountain is still operating, the numbers and cams above are the thing to trust.
