Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a ski area in the Boise Mountains of Idaho, about 16.5 miles north of Boise. It has 2,600 skiable acres, 88 named runs and 10 lifts, including six quad chairlifts, with 1,800 feet of vertical. Annual snowfall averages about 250 inches. Terrain is open on all sides of the mountain, and part of it is lit for night skiing on 26 runs. Bogus Basin is run as a non-profit, and it also maintains a network of Nordic and snowshoe trails.
