How to read this table

A powder day is a calendar day on which the station (or model point) recorded at least 8 in. of new snow, the same threshold as PeakCam's powder alerts. Counted from October 1 for Northern-hemisphere resorts; the Andes, whose season runs June to October, are not on this board.

Every row is dated to the station day or the report it came from, in Mountain time; the NRCS feed is synced every six hours. A station sits at one fixed elevation, usually mid-mountain, so it can disagree with a resort’s own upper-mountain report. How the history is built.
